Programs

JR. Wrangler Ministry

A Jr. Wrangler is someone who has a desire to serve the Lord through their love for His creation. Your duties will all be related to horses. You will also learn the basics on how to take care of a horse. Yes, horses like grooming. It is a special time to get to know your horse and build a relationship with him. You will learn about the special grooming tools for this job. Here are a few duty examples: cleaning water and grain buckets, keeping the walls of the stalls clean and of course the stalls need to be mucked. We will let you look that one up. The duties and responsibilities increase with training. Ages 14 and up.

If you are interested in further details, you can download the brochure: JR. WRANGLER BROCHURE.

Traditional Day Camps

Campers will participate in a week long variety of activities that will encourage them to explore and appreciate the outdoors in a biblically informed way. Programs can include a time of wilderness education, map reading/orienteering, games, gardening, fishing, archery, and horse riding/training. Riding classes incorporate patience, emotional control, and learning how to communicate with a horse without the use of force or intimidation. We teach respectful boundaries with horses; how to keep an animal out of your space while improving leadership and love. A period of Bible instruction and reflection is included to encourage the campers to enjoy a daily walk with Christ and appreciation of his word. A climbing wall, paddle boats, a planned zip-line and giant swing, or exploring our woods provide an outlet for excess energy in a non- harmful way. See schedule for Camp availability. Ages 8-16

Jr Camps

Jr Camp is a scaled back version of Traditional Day Camp. Pretty much mirrored of the activities. The main difference is that Jr Camp is 1 hour shorter each day and is only 3 days; children work with horses 2 of the 3 days. Ages 5-7
